Tara Cousineau, Ph.D., founder of Women Insight, Inc., brings together years of expertise in e-Health program development and clinical health psychology. Her expertise includes writing, research and conceptual development for e-Health products, publications and services. Consultative services include helping businesses and organizations to identify and formulate health communication strategies to reach women as individuals, groups and decision makers. She is a certified focus group facilitator using The Concept Systems® (version 1996-2007) method.
For eight years, Dr. Cousineau was a research scientist for a small research and development firm. As principal investigator, she received numerous grants from the National Institutes of Health’s Small Business Innovative Research program. Her work has been recognized in peer-reviewed journals and Prize Paper Awards from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s Mental Health Professional Group. Three of Dr. Cousineau’s e-Health programs developed for Inflexxion, Inc., have received awards from the 2005 World Wide Web Health Awards.
Dr. Cousineau is a licensed psychologist specializing in women’s issues and health psychology. She received her doctorate in 1996 in clinical psychology from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in New York. She was a clinical fellow at Harvard Medical School and is trained in mind-body medicine. She is a senior staff psychologist at the Domar Center for Complementary Healthcare, Boston IVF, in Waltham, Mass.
